MARIA WILGOS

An extremely sensitive, serene instrumentalist who plays Renaissance lute, Baroque lute, Baroque guitar, classical guitar and theorbo. In her daily work with ensembles, she regrets that she can't bring all of her instruments to one concert and play each one, so that you can benefit from her love of multi-instrumentalism. She began her musical education at the age of 11. She attended the Józef Elsner Secondary Music School in Warsaw in the guitar class. She studied lute at the Academy of Music in Cracow in the class of Prof. Jerzy Zak and at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz in the class of Anton Birula and Anna Kowalska. In 2012- 2015, she received the Scholarship of the Music Academy Rector for outstanding artistic achievements. In 2016, she graduated with the degree with honors. In the following years, she was busy playing concerts and raising her newborn children. In 2022, she became a laureate of the Hanseatic Ensemble courses in Lübeck, Germany. In addition, this year she will play a diploma in classical guitar.
